My Philosphy

To prevent (or reverse) the cause of most degenerative diseases; AKA: the “aging process.” I fight the effects of aging through Lifestyle Education (personal coaching), Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Nutrition, Botanical Medicine, etc. I also gladly co-treat with your other medical providers as needed.

About Doctor Capon

Over the last 50 years I have provided a variety of medical services in various medical roles: I have worked as a delivery boy at a hospital lab (at 16 I needed a car. This led to my interest in medicine.) In Dec. 1974 I enlisted and was a medic in the 82nd Airborne Division. Latter I was recruited to be an Aidman on a Special Forces team (where I received additional surgical and emergency combat medical training and also became a Medical Laboratory Specialist (Army) as well.) After becoming a Naturopathic Physician, I received licenses as a Massage Practitioner, Registered Councilor and Registered Nurse.

Latter I completed MD school and passed the first step of the US licensing boards. Licenser is dependent on completion of additional testing and residency. After I finished MD school, I needed to defer my residency and re-establish medical practice as a Naturopathic Physician due to the terminal illness of his father, who had been given only 1 – 2 years to live. With my assistance, my father lived 8 more years. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend a residency required for licensure as an MD.

Then I attended Gonzaga University (hybrid program) for 7 semesters (3.5 academic years) and received my master’s degree in nursing and licensure as an ARNP (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.) The APRN license allows me to have a similar scope of practice as if I had done a Family Practice Residency after MD school.

After Nurse Practitioner school, I also became a Neuro-Biofeedback Therapist and recently completed a 14-month program in Medical Acupuncture allowing me to use acupuncture under my Nurse Practitioner License.

A chief medical officer I once worked for jokingly said “Lyndon you have Professional ADHD.” He was right!

I also worked for one of the leading Anti-Aging clinics in the US from 2007-2013 and cared for patients who traveled from multiple states and providences.

Quick answers to pondering questions

The purpose of my practice is to help as many individuals regain their health as naturally as I can. It is hoped that those who have been helped will also help educate others, and in so doing, make the world a better place for ourselves and our children.

To slow down and try to reverse many of the effects of aging!
Anti-Aging medicine modalities that I use include (but are not limited to) Taking a detailed Medical History, a good Physical Exam, excellent Laboratory interpretation, Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement, Lifestyle education (counseling/teaching you how to eat right, exercise and getting a good night’s sleep to help you heal and restore your body.) I often use other modalities as needed. I do not replace your family doctor. You will still need a PCP since I don’t treat sore throats, earaches, etc.

I have had patients from their 30’s to 80’s, and the earlier you start your program the easier it is to help you. Also, a small majority of my patients are female.
